Error Invalid object number (status management) while saving notification in QM02

Hi All,

We have created certain custom notification types like ZV, ZE,ZC in our SAP system. However, when we try to update and save the notification through QM02 transaction we get the error message as Invalidobject number (status management). I found the source by debugging the standard code. It happens in FM "
GEN_NOTIFICATION_STATUS" which is again standard. I have even looked through the OSS note 1705428 and checked all the condition given in there as solutions and found nothing.

Also,I have checked the transaction IW20 to see if the number range has been created for the given notification types and it has been created.

I am completely clueless as to what to do and not sure if it is a custom programming error.

Please help me on this issue as I am at my wit's end with this.
