Making the field : Plant for Mat. mandatory by plant

hi All,

I would like to make plant for mat. in QM01 as mandatory but i would like to control by Plant, pls advise if it is possible to be set by customizing.

i know that it can be set under OQM3 and influencing by Notification Type. But i want another level of control which is the origin plant where this notification triggered from.
