QM WORKFLOW NOTIFICATIONS

Hello,

 

I’m using WF WS92000009, to trigger emails for notification task, and I’m facing some issues regarding the email send.

 

When task is added to notification, the event trigger an email to user task processor.

 

The SAP users for task processors are defined in partners data tab.

 

 

For this situation was expected that WF trigger an email to user defined, but the workflow is sending emails to  other random users too, that have never been associated to the notification (they didn’t create or did modifications the notification).

 

Do you have any idea how it is possible to control this?

Sales order display in QA32 & QA33

Hi Experts,

 

In the transaction QA32 & QA33, in Output screen, in the dynamic selection, I can see the sales order option can be selected, when I selected this option, I dont see the sales orders Displayed. How can I get.

 

Any pointers in this direction will be of great.

How to get MIC longtext from results QAMV table.

Hi experts,

 

 

      To get the long text we have to use read_text function module.What parameters we have to pass to get the long text of MIC after assigning the MIC's to Inspection Lot(It will be saved in QAMV table).

dear all

 

if status maintenance order ILNC (inspection lot not created) after released.

 

1. check configuration order type vs inspection type (14)

     SPRO path : IMG > Plant Maintenance and Customer Service> Maintenance and Service Processing>Maintenance and Service Orders> Functions and Settings for Order Types > Assign Inspection Types to Maintenance/Service Order Types


2. check inspection point 300 (inspection point for equipment) in QM data - Task List Header

3. check task list already assigned to maintenance plan and status task list is released

4. check sampling procedure - inspection points already ticked "Plant Maintenance"


last , if you think all setup is OK, check:

5. if you was upgraded for basis release 6.20, see the sap note : 572103 - No inspection lot for maintenance order

Symptom

No inspection lot is generated for the maintenance order. Status I0182 ILNC 'Inspection lot not

created' is assigned to the order.

In the release log, the system generates message CO548 'Material &1: automatic generation of

inspection lot failed'

 

Reason and Prerequisites

The units of measurement Customizing was changed for Basis Release 6.20. Instead of the old ISO code

PCE, new ISO code C62 is now used for 'piece(s)'.

As a result, there is no longer any unit of measurement in the standard Customizing which has ISO

code PCE. During inspection lot creation, it is therefore not possible to determine any unit of

measurement for the inspection lot.

Solution

Maintain an unit of measurement with ISO code PCE:

Customizing -> General Settings -> Check units of measurement tcode CUNI

Pushbutton 'Units of measurement', selection '(no dimensions)'

Choose an appropriate unit of measurement such as ST or PC or create a new unit of measurement.

Maintain ISO code PCE on the detail screen.

 

 

6. After you configure ISO code, check and test. The maintenance order will generate inspection lot after released.

7. If you have maintenance order with status REL ILNC before, don't worry, you still can generate inspection lot but manually.

Go to the Change Maintenance order, then select Order in toolbars , select function --> inspection lot --> create inspection lot. Then the maintenance order will generate inspection lot.

Processing dependent characteristics - Authorization?

Hi ladies & sirs,

 

When recording inspection results (QE51N), is there any authorization object to unable the treatment of MICs at A ("Requested MIC when controlling MIC accepted") or B ("Requested MIC when controlling MIC rejected") statuses?

 

I'm trying Q_CHAR_PRC but it still allows to process them.

Inspection characteristic automatically evaluated with sampling system

Hello QM-Gurus,

 

I have a Question.

 

I have created a Sampling Procedure with the requirement 100 % measured and 90 % must be correct.

 

Than I have created an Inspection characteristic with following keys:

 

 

In the inspection plan I have assigned this inspection characteristic with the sampling procedure:

 

 

 

After the inspection lot is created I go to QE51n and input the measured values.

 

 

 

I expectedthat after theseentriesautomaticallyvalued, but it will always be displayedmanualreview.


Why is that?


The otherinspection characteristicsare evaluatedautomatically.

stock still in Quality even after doing UD and Posting into Unrestricted ?

Hi Gurus,

 

user has Processed the INSP lot as for the Process(qe01 and qa12) given UD and posted the stock into unrestricted. Material Documents are generated for both the 101 and 321 But material is still showing in Quality.

 

 

now the user want to do return delivery of the same material due to some business reasons. when we try to do the Return delivery system is giving a massage as " Returns has to done through QM' so Please guide me what to do in this  issue. and why stock is still in Quality even a material DOCUMENT is Generated.

Manual Valuation

Hi ,

 

While doing the Result Recording system is giving the Pop up message for "Manual Valuation - Accept/Reject". This is hapenning  while doing only some inspection lot. I want to know why this pop is coming ?

 

Settings i checked :-

 

1. MIC has Sampling procedure tick in control indicators

2. Assigned Sampling procedue has valuation mode :- Attributive Inspection nonconf. units

3. Configuration for "Plant Dep QM settings" - Result recording - Recording Configuration - close ,navigate,save automatically

 

The only difference i noticed between Inspection plans for which Manual Valuation pop up appear & do automatically is "Origin results data- Previous inspection lot"  maintained in the plan for Manual Valuation pop up ..not sure if that could be possible reason

 

Kindly suggest if anything i am missing

I have a simple question for your level. I want to extend a material to another plant (also Inspection characteristic & Inspection Plan). Is it necessary to create another certificate QC01, or it will work with the previous ?

QM MIC Query.

Hi,

 

Is it possible to carry forward result/value  of one characteristics to the next inspection lot in QM. Like through DMR characteristics can be skipped to any number of lots. Similarly is it possible to do the same but with values recorded in the specific characteristics.

stock transfer from one storage location to another storage locationi have created

Hi Guru's

 

i have created a material with inspection type 08 (Stock Transfer Inspection), and assigned stock to storage location 0001 with quality inspection. now i want to transfer stock from storage location 0001 to 0002. But i was unable to transfer the stock by using MIGO.

 

 

i have used movement type 311,313,323 and 411.

 

what is the movement type i have to use. and how can i transfer stock from one storage location to other

Result Recording Issue

Dear SAP,

 

I face some issue while printing the COA.After result recording & UD when i print the COA in that the unit of result is not coming.I have metion the unit while creating the MIC.While result recording in Original Value only we can put the result in Number, how on COA we can bring the units with that result value please guide.

Process order can be closed without UD set for related Inspection lot

Dear expert,

 

I have a question. Now our finance found that when they close the process order, the order can be closed without UD set for related inspeciton lot. Previously, if related Inspection lot of the products was not be set UD, when closing the process order by finance , SAP will show an standard error message CO440, and the process order can't be closed before the UD has been set.

But now  our business has changed. We decided to post the products to a storage location which managed by Handling unit. And the GR will be done through an inbound delivery. Therefore, when closing the process order , the error message will not be displayed, even if the inspection lot has not been set UD. This made the QA out of control, is there anyone who can help me with this? I am not sure this is related to the new business modification.

Usage Decision not allowed to accept if any MIC rejected while result recording.

We have a requirement that while doing result recording for any lot if one of the MIC got rejected then system not allowed the user to accept the lot.It only allowed to reject it.For that what control should i provid.Please guide.

'Related Notifications' button in Results Recording screen

Gurus,

I am facing a situation where for the same material in different plants (with different Master Inspection Characteristic) the screens of the result recording are different. One has a button 'Related Notifications' and the other one does not have one:

What triggers the appearance of this button? What is the function of this button? Any help will be highly appreciated.

after QA11 restricted batch stock splits between plant and sloc

I have an 8* inspection lot created from a batch to batch transfer (909 mvt type). The material is batch-restricted use but not QI stock. When I make a usage decision to reject there are the usual two “steps”:

 

  1. Select R for reject
  2. Complete stock proposal to move the stock to Blocked.

 

If I go into QA11 and complete step 1 and save and then go to QA12 and complete step 2 and save, all is fine.  I get a single stock posting of a 344 that is generated after the second step. Stock is blocked.

 

If I go into QA11 and do both steps and then save, I get 2 stock postings on the one material document:  a 342 (restri to unrest) and a 344 (unres to blocked). The result is odd. If the usage decision is for 3KG, then the result is that I have 3KG in blocked at Plant Level and 3KG in unrestricted at storage location level.

 

The stock is, as far as I can see, completely unusable as I get “deficit of stock” errors anytime I try to move it or reverse the decisions made.  Has anyone seen this before?  How can I correct this to retrieve the stock?

Upper and lower value in Inspection Plan

Hi,

 

I have one characteristic CT1 having no lower or upper range. I have created one Master Inspection characteristics as MIC1 with reference to CT1, so does not have any values. Now CReating one Inspection PLan IP1 ( t code QP01) with MIC1. By default there is no values are there and tried to maintain the lower and upper limit by unloacking the characteristics. But still greyed out.

 

Is there any way to maintain range in inspection plan in this situation?

error on ud

Dear expert,

 

While doing stock transfer through ud for a inspection lot(prodn order gr inspection.04)

System trying to create a sales order parallel.as user is not having authorization

It end up with an error without stock posting.

Message no.80 and the Id is vl

 

Any body can help on this
