Update Quality Level for MIC After Result Recording, whereas DMR is active at UD level

Hi Experts,

 

I need a help in understanding a point. Below is the situation I am working with -

 

a) DMR setup is active at UD level (And not at inspection lot creation)

b) "3 Dynamic Modification at Char. Level" is selected at routing header level and at operation => Characteristic level, DMR is selected.

c) Inspection Point 100 is used for creating multiple inspection points for recording results.

 

If this is really possible to update Q-Level after MIC status is "5" (closed ==>  be it Accept or Reject)? If so, how to achieve it.

 

Is it possible to achieve the above requested functionality by implementing enhancement QEEM0006, user exit EXIT_SAPLQEEM_006 or FM: QDBU_QUALITY_LEVEL_POSTING. Or, there is any other means possible to achieve it?

 

Also please let me know what all the potential drawback or issues may happen if we try to fix this requirement.

Will system generate material document during relase of the inspection lot created during GR using 107 movement type

Hello,

 

we have a business requirement where the purchase orders that are sent out to vendors will be received at a third party vendor.

The third party vendor will perform the 107 posting at their location and if the material is a QM active then system would automatically create a Inspection lot. In order to release the inspection lot we will post the stock to GR blocked and release the LOT.

But during this step the system is not creating any material document of movement type 321.

 

As per my understanding this 321 movement type material document will be created when we post the stock from quality to Unrestricted.

 

But our case is when we release the Inspection lot that is created during 107 posting, system should create a material document or any reference document which can be sent to the third party vendor system for reference.

 

Can you please let me know if there is any way we could actually do this in standard SAP?

Change the inspection stock of Material xxxx in QM only - SAP

Hi all,

 

I have done GR for a PO and moved the material to QI stock (during GR, I have changed the stock type to QI manually)

 

Later I have activated inspection lot for that material in MM02.

 

Now I am not able to move the stock from QI to URU using MvT 321. I am getting this error message "Change the inspection stock of Material xxxx in QM only"

 

I have also tried GR cancellation (MvT 102), GR return (MvT 122) and also MvT 323 etc for all I am getting the same error message.

 

Anyone please help me how to overcome this error message.

After Source Inspection 01 Inspection lot post to Un-restricted Use

Hi Experts,

 

My requirement is "After Source Inspection completed, when we are doing Goods Receipt, 01- Inspection lot should get created after MIGO but stock should go directly to Unrestricted.


SPRQ Status is not required in Inspection Lot.



Kindly suggest what settings will be required for this, do I need to activate any enhancement ?

Hi experts

Please guide me how to define necessary QM order customizing for QN01 type, when I want to create Order in notification (T Code QM01 or QM02) I get the information below:

"Order type does not exist"

Order type  does not exist

 

Message no. KO119

 

Diagnosis

 

Order type  is not defined.

 

Procedure

 

Select an existing order type with F4, or create order type .

How to correct the UD stock posting issues

UD has been posted to an inspection lot but stock has not been updated to UNRES stock.

Hello Experts,

 

Whenever I want to record the results for nonconforming units, auto valuation should happen.

 

I created 4 different MIC with same control indicator. DMR is assign at Header level of Plan and Sampling procedure with scheme assigned at operation level.


For first three characteristic it working fine. but for last MIC, its showing Accepted<->Rejected in specification. I dont why its showing this, as I have not maintained any where. I am little confused, why this is happening.


And asking me to enter the results as per sample size. Summarized results maintained in MIC.

Are there any SAP Mobility applications that will process QM Inspections lots with results recordings and usage decisions?

 

In particular, we are implementing SAP Plant Maintenance and have inspection lots generated for Inspection type 14( plant Maintenence).

The lots get generated in conjunction with operations on a Maintenance Work Order that have inspection characteristics assigned to the operation?

How to avoid the pop up 'Valuate the non-valuated QM Characteristics Manually?' during UD ?

Hello Friends

 

During result recording if the user leaves any characteristic (The MIC which is linked with a Class Characteristic ) blank , then during UD and stock posting system gives a pop-up message to Valuate Characteristic with an option to click Yes/No.

I have made a BDC program for UD and Stock posting.For the above pop-up message, the program stops there.

 

Therefore, my requirement is to avoid the above pop-up. Is there any such note available or we can avoid this through configuration.

Certificates with inspection results in one plant but shipped from another plant

Hi,

 

I need to create a certificate which is inspected in one plant and shipped from another.

 

Business case:

The product is produced in plant 1, then shipped with stock transport order to plant 2 which is a warehouse managed by an external partner.

 

The product is shipped with outbound delivery from plant 2 to the customer.

 

The product is batch managed.

 

I transfer the inspection results in plant 1 to batch classification (class 023 which is client specific).

 

Problem:

I can create a certificate for the batch in plant 2 using transaction QC22 which displays all values from the batch classification. However, when i create a certificate for delivery using transaction QC20, the value are not dispalyed.

 

Any tips of how to get this to work?

I need a small help from QM side. My client wants the BPML list from QM side. Means which are belongs to configuration side and which are belongs to ABAP program side.

 

For Ex: inspection type: Configurarion

 

Inspection plan: ABAP

 

like that i want total BPML list.

Customer Specific Inspection Lot During OB Delivery

Hi All,

 

One of my client have a requirement that automatic creation of lot during OB delivery should be customer dependant. they supply one material to more then one customer. for Indian customer they dont want to generate the inspection lot during the OB delivery for other then India they want to generate the inspection lot.

 

how i achieve that please help.

Production order link for Manual inspection with type 89

Dear Experts,

 

Kindly suggest how we can link production order to lot created manually  with inspection type 89 using QA01 tcode.

 

System automatically links at the time of release  of production order using inspectin  type 03 or 04 ,but  some times becuase of business

 

requirement or during cut over we have to create manual inspection lot with inspection type 89 using QA01, kindly suggest

 

possible ways to link the production order number with lot created manually. Thanks....

SLED just monthe before from the manufacturing date

Hi  SAP User ,

 

 

We are changing SLED data of FERT material form Day 'D' to Month 'M'  .

 

Our requirement  , SLED will just before one month from  the date of manufacturing date /month .

 

 

But SAP calculating :-

 

Total shelf life in material master      = 12 month

 

Period indicator in material master    = M (month)

 

Manufacturing date given during MB31 say 10.04.2016

 

SLED calculating through SAP =  10.04.2016 + 12 month = 04/2017

 

But our requirement , it should be 03/2017 instead of 04/2017 ( Just one month before from the manufacturing date )

 

 

Please guide me how to resolve the issue .

Problems applying note 389492

Hi experts!!

 

Our process is the following:

  1. 1-     With GR -> Material “passes” from 902-WE-ZONE and it is placed on a user’s bin as Q stock.
  2. 2-     From QA32 -> We make the UD and 321 is created automatically.
  3. 3-     We execute LU04 and we get error L3094.

As problem is solved updating to blank the QM lot inspection number from transaction LU02 I wonder whether there is a way in order to get that Posting Change Notice would be created with a blank in field “Inspection Lot”.

In case this is not possible…

I can´t manage to get working Lu04 transaction.

I have created a new entry, called Z,  from transaction omnf. With “Dyn.bin material doc.” marked and field-name QALS-PRUEFLOS.

I have changed customizing for movement 321. Requitement Type was empty. I have put Z now. Both “Storage bin” were TR-ZONE and the Dinamyc storage bin was unmarked. I have put blank destination storage bin and marked dynamic storage bin for destination.

L3094 is still araising.

What should I do?
