I am a SAP PP consultant and have one requirement in SAP QM in which we want to link movement types with QM notification of particular 'notification types" . We want to create n rejection notification when we carry out 122 movement type. This should happen automatically.

We have the following scenario. For example let's say, Moisture content should be 3 - 5 %, but while doing inspection they found it to be 7 - 9 % which is beyond tolerance limit. Now currently users are doing results recording and UD for "Accepting it with deviation". But users must be able to do only "Not Accept" or "Reject" it. Even they shouldn't be able to perform"Accept it with deviation". And once they reject it, the rejected product must go back to Scrap or Block stock or Vendor. Am a PP consultant and i'm new to QM. So kindly help me to resolve it. Thanks in Advance.

We currently have problem.
That we need to reset UD in partial lot.
We have implemented User Exit QEVA0008, but unfortunately, it can only reverse UD in Inspection Lot Header (not in partial lot).
Because of this, we can't change result recording that have been created of each partial lot.
Is there any way to solve this problem ?

Hello All,
We have the following issue in which,for example let's say,we have predefined 1 product as sample quantity for every 50, so for every 50 products, it'll check 1 product. If suppose we are testing 1 sample out of the bunch,system takes as 2 quantity and results are updated for 1 quantity only. And for the other one quantity, usage decision was saying as a force closed. Since i am a PP consultant,am new to QM. So kindly help me resolve it. Correct me if am wrong. Thanks in advance.

while changing usage decision using QA12 for particular inspection lot i am getting bellow info message.
if i am continuing further and going to Inspection lot stock tab,there i am getting a dump as screenshot attached.
already debugged the program,after execution of FM 'CONVERSION_EXIT_CUNIT_OUTPUT' in screen PBO i am getting the dump.
Message No. QV042
There is an error in the internal quantity management function of the inspection lot.
The deviation in quantity in the inspection lot is automatically corrected.
Look for a note on this error number in the SAP note system or contact the SAP Hotline.
Kindly suggest the solution.

I want some information on function module assigned to Action Box. If you go in F2 type notification then in (spro) function 0002 (Assign purchasing Document) and also in 0005 you can see there is function module assigned to it.
And there is two function module in each function like 0002 and 0005.
1) Under Function tab - Function Module
2) Specific details for task - FM when saving
So why there is two Function Module. What is the use of it.
I want some customized action so for that what necessary steps should I considered. So how will I customize this process. And my technical consultant create two or one function module

I am trying to make the field PLANT FOR MAT. in the reference object screen mandatory.
In the IMG activity Define Screen Templates>>>Field Selection for Reference Object Screen I have changed the field as Required for a particular notification type.
But while creating the notification with the same notif type, it is not getting reflected.
Is there any other change required for doing this.?

I have one requirement in which for the first production order depending on some conditions.I am adding extra characteristic in inspection lot, while creating production order.
Initially in the inspection plan, i have only 3 MIC. program add addition 4th MIC at the time of inspection lot creation. This i am doing with enhancement-QEEV0001.
This 4th MIC has to checked/recorded only by Quality Controller(Manager) and other 3 MIC's can be check by Quality operator only.
I heard about Quality Inspector in MIC, How can i use it?. Don't want to select QC manually from MIC F4.
please guide.

I have one issue in my program, where I'm using the BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS to record the results. Issue is when a particular characteristic is having some small values, In standard SAP through QE51N, it allows you to input the <0.005, I'm trying to do the same thing through BAPI and it is not allowing me to do so. My customer has a request to add this functionality and I tried this BAPI and i'm wondering that we can't use this BAPI to fulfil customer's requirement.
Please let me know if there is any way that i can bypass this special symbols in the BAPI to make it work.

Hi all,
I have a very clear and also reasonable request.
In the incoming quality inspection there are created inspection lots (automatically based on the goods receipt). The control is attributive with inspection points (for necessary user fields).
The problem is in transaction QE51N. While creating further inspection points the sample size to inspect for particular attributes is still same. I need the somehow to recalculate the sample size according to the already inspected amount.
Example. For the first attribute I've inspected 45 pieces of total amount 315. So I expect to have next inspection point only with 270 pieces to inspect (for this attribute).
Sounds like dependent multiple samples with inspection points.
Any idea?

We are facing the below issue in customized notification type Z2 which is configured with ref to SAP std.Q2 notification type.
Steps followed to re creating the issue:
1) Purchase order 4500001422 with Account assignment as Sales Order number 1 and item number 20:
2) Creating the notification type Z2( vendor complaint) with ref to P.O 4500001422:
3) Verified the Account assignment field value under 'Subject Tab' & no rerence Sales order number has been updated in the field:
4) In QM01-Given the Sales order number and item number manually in the 'sales order' field and Saved the notification.
5) In QM02-Change mode , Sales order - item number is not appearing ( no value ) in 'Account assignment- Sales order' field.
6) Also please find the screen ref. in customizing for Z2 notif type.

UD has been posted to an inspection lot but stock has not been updated to UNRES stock.
What could be the reason and how to correct this...
